In this week’s class, I used an overhead LCD projector to show how to format your book using Microsoft Word. I showed how to add and change page numbers, how to create and apply styles to your text, the difference between serif and sans-serif fonts and what they’re both used for, and I showed the class a book template for a 6″x9″ book.

Right-click the link to the Word document and choose “Save Target As” to save it to your computer.
Lulu.com has document templates for each of their book sizes available for either Microsoft Word or OpenOffice.
