Week 13: Printing Your Book

Today was a great day!  I took the class on an online tour showing how to print and publish their books through Lulu.com.

I showed the class how to create an account on Lulu, how to create a new paperbook book project, enter the basic information for that project, upload a Word document for the book interior, create a cover using Lulu.com’s cover designer, and buy a copy of the completed book.

Every student will be submitting at least one chapter of their book to Lulu to have it printed and shipped to them. The final class in two weeks will be a Show & Tell so we can all see each other’s books.

As I took the class on this tour, I recorded the screen as a video which you can watch below.  Enjoy!

    Hey Aaron,
I took your class earlier this year and I had a question for you. What is the difference between getting the “published by lulu” isbn vs. the “published by you” isbn. why wouldn’t I do the free one? Is there a financial advantage of paying the 100 dollars for your own isbn?
